The latest member of HSL’s growing family of video and KVM extension products is now available for sale. Providing high performance fiber extension, the FKFE11PHU60-N extends 4K 60Hz video, USB 2.0 and HID, audio, and RS232 signals up to 10Km. HSL’s convenient dual HDMI/DP combo port interface is used in both the receiver and the transmitter. The TAA/BAA compliant product comes with a 2-year warranty.
For the first time, Microsoft is publishing research on a subgroup within Seashell Blizzard, a Russian state actor hacking group. Expanding beyond Eastern Europe, the group’s campaign against Internet-facing critical infrastructure has reached near-global scale. Active since at least 2021, Seashell Blizzard has gained access to global targets such as oil and gas, telecommunications, shipping, arms manufacturing and international government sectors, including in the United States and the United Kingdom. Meeting this threat, HSL has secure data diodes specifically for critical infrastructure that enforce unidirectional data flow and data filtering across interfaces common to critical infrastructure such as SCADA.
Over 10,000 people from the USN, USMC, USCG, academia and industry attended the WEST 2025 event held in San Diego at the end of January. Many attendees interested in secure control rooms and secure meeting rooms visited HSL’s booth to experience the most secure peripheral sharing solutions including KVM switches, NeousTM KVM over IP matrix solutions, SoundSentryTM secure meeting room solutions, extenders, Isolators, and audio and video diodes among others. HSL took advantage of this premier industry event to forge new partnerships and to connect with new and veteran customers alike. HSL is looking forward to seeing everyone again at WEST 2026.
HSL participated ISE 2025, the largest event for the ProAV industry, attended by over 85,000 visitors and over 1,600 exhibitors. The well-appointed HSL booth showcased a secure control room and a secure meeting room along with cross-domain, KVM switching, extension and isolation products. HSL leveraged the event to connect with new integration and distribution partners in Europe and worldwide.
