INTRODUCING SOUNDSENTRY™ – SECURE MEETING ROOM SOLUTIONS:
Secure any meeting room. Beyond code, beyond compromise.
The SoundSentry™ solution protects sensitive meetings from cyber threats by establishing multi-layered, hardware-based security. It utilizes NIAP-certified KVMs to enforce absolute data isolation between air-gapped networks. Media diodes, such as the Videobar Diode, create a physically enforced, unidirectional data path to prevent data leakage from peripherals like cameras and microphones. Finally, Smart Power Port management allows for an instant, true hardware disconnect of vulnerable devices, a level of security that a simple mute button cannot provide. The SoundSentry solution allows us to use the same room and equipment whether for a secure or a non-classified meeting.
JLR’s Cyber Nightmare
In late August 2025, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) suffered a major cyberattack forcing a production shutdown that led to a nearly £500 million quarterly loss. The incident which involved data theft and crippled the company’s IT systems, highlights the critical need for network isolation to prevent unauthorized access and lateral movement. An attack can originate from unsecured devices with public internet access and make its way across networks to entire production lines across the world. Secure cross-domain data-transfer tools such as HSL’s RS-232 data diodes can provide hardware-based isolation to prevent unauthorized access and lateral movements.
