Seeking a professional to Design Mechanical / Electro-mechanical parts and assemblies and the mechanical aspects of electronic assemblies.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Technical Education (likely B.Sc.: Mechanical Engineering)
- A minimum of 3–5-year experience in relevant industry
- Previous work with SolidWorks (3D models and 2D drawings).
- Experience in design of Plastic and metal part and electro-mechanic assemblies.
- Experience in design of products concept to mass production – an advantage.
- Previous experience working with supplier and subcontractors.
- Previous work with PDM.
- Previous work with PCB layout designer – an advantage.
- Ability to fabricate and assemble engineering models in models shop – an advantage.
- Good Technical English.
- Fast & self-learning ability.
- A team player who can also work independently.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
Job Description:
- Design of Mechanical parts (Metal Frame, Plastic injection, CNC, Die cast and similar technologies).
- Design of Electro-mechanical Assemblies.
- Design of the Mechanical aspects of an electronic assembly (PCB, PCBA).
- Work with supplier and subcontractors to facilitate execution of design.
- Work closely with Hardware engineers and operations (Purchasing, production and supply chain in between) to facilitate sample approval and mass production support.
