We are looking for an Embedded Software Team Lead to head a multidisciplinary development group, driving both embedded and system-level software for our secure connectivity products. In this role, you will lead and mentor talented engineers, shape software architecture, ensure timely delivery of secure releases, and foster innovation in a collaborative R&D environment.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on Embedded Software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional software teams.
- Strong background in C/C++ and low-level development on ARM Cortex-M platforms.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture design.
- Proven ability to manage multiple development streams and parallel releases.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, hardware–software integrated environments.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery cycles – an advantage.
- Additional advantage for experience with: React, Android, STM32, NXP i.MX MCUs/MPUs, ThreadX/AzureRTOS, Embedded Linux, USB stack, Video stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Embedded Software engineers (Bare Metal, ThreadX, Linux) and Full-Stack developers building modern web applications.
- Drive software design, implementation, and integration for embedded and system-level solutions.
- Ensure high-quality, secure, and on-time software releases.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Hardware, and QA teams.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews.
- Balance leadership, architecture planning, and hands-on contributions.
