Two New Tools Infect Air-Gapped Networks 

Two new tools for exfiltrating data from air-gapped networks have been uncovered by researchers. The hacking group responsible for these tool sets are assumed to be nation-state sponsored and are suspected to be associated with Russia’s FSB. The flexible toolkit uses several exfiltration methods to avoid detection. The robust and flexible tool set allows malicious actors to customize their attack to specific scenarios and appears to be targeted for now to countries in Europe and the Middle East.
