Position Summary
Hands-on IT Systems & Cybersecurity Engineer combining enterprise systems administration with cybersecurity implementation across hybrid cloud/on-prem environments, including air-gapped systems, patch management, and security operations support.
What You'll Do
- Execute day-to-day systems administration for enterprise infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls and hardening procedures.
- Deploy and manage patch management processes across servers, workstations, and applications.
- Support Active Directory/GPO operations and identity management tasks.
- Configure and monitor Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware environments.
- Manage Veeam backups, Fortigate firewalls, Forescout NAC operations.
- Execute Vault operations for secrets retrieval, rotation, and privileged access.
- Manage structured incident ticketing and KPI reporting in service management systems.
- Support air-gapped environment operations and security procedures.
- Participate in infrastructure/cybersecurity project implementation.
- Document configurations, procedures, and compliance evidence.

- Systems: Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware vSphere, enterprise servers, Veeam
- Identity: Active Directory, GPO, Vault (secrets/PAM operations)
- Network: Fortigate, Juniper, Aruba switches
- Security: Trend Micro Vision One, Forescout NAC, patch management systems
- Service: Structured ticketing systems with KPI tracking
- Specialized: Air-gapped environments
Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years IT systems administration experience
- Hands-on experience with AD/GPO, VMware, Azure, Veeam, Fortigate
- Familiarity with patch management, Forescout NAC, Trend Micro
- Understanding of cybersecurity implementation and system hardening
- Experience with ticketing systems and service delivery processes
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good English communication skills (written/spoken)
- Proactive approach and attention to detail
Priority Certifications
- Systems: Microsoft 365 Admin, Azure Fundamentals, VMware VCA
- Security: Security+, CySA+, SSCP
- Network: Fortinet NSE 3/4, CCNA
- Operations: ITIL Foundation
Strong Advantage
- Experience with Vault secrets management operations
- Air-gapped environmental support experience
- Knowledge of additional cybersecurity platforms
- Experience with enterprise backup/recovery processes
- Familiarity with compliance documentation processes
