HSL Announces its First Major Deployment of its Social Distance Monitoring Device
HSL Announces it’s First Major Deployment of its Social Distance Monitoring Device.
HSL has recently completed its first full deployment of HSL’s COVID monitoring employee badges. The badges are based on BT technology and are monitoring encounters between employees.
Every encounter longer than 15 minutes and closer than 2 meters are logged on the employee badge for two weeks. Once an employee is diagnosed as Covid positive only his tag is investigated and a list of all encounters in last two weeks is received, making it easy to isolate those employees.
HSL’s Social Monitoring device is designed with employee’s privacy and health in mind. There is no central database of encounters anywhere.
Making the employees movements private. There is no need for a SIM card or WIFI and the badges don’t contain any other information except encounters with other badges.
