High Sec Labs introduces its new line of PP4.0-compatible Isolators
To offer the highest level of separation, High Sec Labs (HSL) announces its new line of secure KVM Isolators that meets the strictest PP4.0 data-security requirements for peripheral-sharing devices.
The Isolator family of products prevents vulnerable video peripherals from attacking secure computers, by ensuring that video and KM flows in a unidirectional and filtered manner. By preventing host-to-peripheral direct access, the secure Isolator eliminates data leakage and filters irrelevant data from reaching sensitive computers. The Isolator is designed to provide the highest possible computer and peripheral isolation as demanded by government agencies, the military, financial institutions, and similar security-sensitive customers.
Three of the six models support a KVM (keyboard, display, and mouse) and three support video only. Both types support either DVI, HDMI, or DP/HDMI. The DP/HDMI models feature a new dual-source video connector that supports connecting either DisplayPort or HDMI sources into the same port. This eliminates the need for adaptors and converters when making video connections. The dual-source feature is available on Isolator models FV11PH-M (video Isolator) and FI11PH-M (KVM Isolator).
Coming soon: HSL will offer a family of six Extended Isolators. These extend the Isolator’s effective distance between the source and target. The copper version extends the distance by 100 meters and the fiber version, by 10 kilometers. Five of the six models will include the dual-source DP/HDMI video connector explained above.
