The Videobar Diode now supports CISCO Room & Desk Series
The Videobar Diode enables a single videobar to be securely shared across devices at different classification levels, preventing eavesdropping, data leakage, and data injection through hardware-enforced isolation.
The new Cisco-dedicated version supports Cisco Room and Desk series devices operating in bulk-transfer mode, extending secure videobar sharing to Cisco-based meeting rooms.
As a key component of SoundSentry™, the Videobar Diode enables secure multi-domain meeting rooms with shared AV equipment across isolated networks.
A cyberattack on German utility Stadtwerke Landsberg encrypted its central IT systems, disrupting administrative and communication functions while leaving operational technology (OT) unaffected. The separation between IT and OT prevented the attack from disrupting essential electricity, water, wastewater, heating, and other services. While the incident caused significant IT disruption and raised concerns over potential data theft, core operations remained online. The incident demonstrates how strict network isolation between administrative IT and OT can contain attacks, prevent lateral movement, and preserve operational continuity even when corporate systems are compromised.
