NIAP PP4.0-Certified Video Isolators
HSL’s Video Isolators are now officially certified by NIAP for Protection Profile 4.0 for PSD.
HSL Video Isolators enforce a strictly unidirectional flow of signals from the host computer to the display, physically preventing return-channel communication. By eliminating bidirectional data transfer, these isolators enable multiple computers to securely connect to a single display while preventing data leakage or malware injection between devices and networks.
NIAP PP4.0 certification provides verified hardware-level protection, ensuring trusted display connectivity wherever uncompromising isolation is required.
Certified models:
FV11H-M, FV11D-M, FV11PH-M, FV11HH-MM, FV11PP-MM, FV11HP-MM, FV11PH-MM
A security analysis of Sipeed’s nanoKVM revealed significant vulnerabilities. The low-cost device featured an undocumented microphone that could be activated remotely, used a hardcoded, shared encryption key, and routed DNS queries through Chinese servers by default. These flaws create a substantial risk, allowing the KVM to be exploited by attackers for data extraction as well as malware injection. This underscores the critical importance of standards like NIAP PP4.0, which mandate hardware-level security features like isolated data paths to prevent such vulnerabilities, as well as using secure TAA/BAA supply chains.
ISE 2026 – Integrated Systems Europe
ISE 2026 was a highly successful event for HSL, providing an excellent platform to engage with the ProAV community and discuss the growing importance of cybersecurity in AV environments. Our team demonstrated advanced solutions for secure meeting rooms and operations centers, showcased live zero-latency video encryption, and highlighted the security risks associated with commercial KVM switches. The strong interest and quality of discussions reinforced the increasing demand for hardware-enforced security in ProAV deployments.
WEST 2026
WEST 2026 was a successful and engaging event, bringing together the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard community to explore mission-critical cybersecurity challenges and solutions. At the event, HSL presented its latest hardware-based cybersecurity innovations, including live demonstrations of the SoundSentry solution for secure meeting rooms and zero-latency live video encryption. Attendees also explored secure, FIPS-compliant IP KVM/Video matrix solutions with NIAP-certified isolation, as well as rugged MIL-SPEC KVM switching products designed for land, air, and sea platforms.

DoW – Mission Partner Environment
High Sec Labs will be participating in the upcoming DoW Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Event, where coalition interoperability and secure information sharing take center stage.
As mission partners operate across domains, networks, and classification levels, enforcing strict hardware-level isolation becomes essential to maintaining both operational effectiveness and data integrity.
At the event, HSL will showcase secure, mission-ready solutions designed to support multi-domain environments.
We look forward to engaging with defense leaders and mission partners to discuss how secure hardware foundations enable trusted coalition operations.
